ProServe Hub ("we," "our," or "us") operates the ProServe Hub mobile application and website (collectively, the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our Service.
1. Information We Collect
Account Information: When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, phone number, ZIP code, and role (customer or contractor).
Profile Information: Contractors may provide business name, service types offered, license information, portfolio photos, and availability schedules.
Location Data: We collect ZIP codes to match customers with local contractors. We may use geocoding to convert ZIP codes to approximate coordinates for distance-based matching.
Payment Information: Payment processing is handled by Stripe. We do not store your full credit card numbers on our servers. Stripe's privacy policy governs the handling of payment data.
Usage Data: We collect information about how you interact with the Service, including pages visited, features used, and timestamps.
Photos and Media: Customers and contractors may upload photos related to job requests, portfolios, and proof of work. These are stored in Firebase Storage.
Communications: Messages sent through in-app chat between customers and contractors are stored to facilitate service delivery.
Device Information: We may collect device type, operating system, unique device identifiers, and push notification tokens.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To create and manage your account
- To match customers with contractors based on location and service type
- To process payments and manage escrow transactions
- To send push notifications about job updates, messages, and account activity
- To generate AI-powered estimates, job summaries, and client updates
- To display contractor portfolios, reviews, and reputation scores

- To improve and optimize the Service
- To detect and prevent fraud or abuse
3. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell your personal information. We may share your information in these circumstances:
- Between Users: Customer name, contact information, and job details are shared with contractors they hire, and vice versa.
- Service Providers: We use third-party services including Firebase (Google) for authentication, database, and storage; Stripe for payment processing; and cloud functions for AI features.
- Legal Requirements: We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or government request.
- Business Transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred.
4. Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored on Firebase (Google Cloud) servers in the United States. We implement industry-standard security measures including:
- Firebase Authentication for secure sign-in
- Firestore Security Rules to restrict data access
- Firebase App Check to prevent unauthorized API access
- Encrypted data transmission via HTTPS/TLS
- Stripe PCI-compliant payment processing
5. Your Rights and Choices
You have the right to:
- Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
- Correction: Update or correct inaccurate information through your account profile
- Deletion: Request deletion of your account and associated data via our Delete Account page
- Opt-Out: Disable push notifications through your device settings
- Data Portability: Request your data in a machine-readable format
6. Children's Privacy
The Service is not intended for users under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we learn we have collected data from a child under 18, we will delete it promptly.
7. Third-Party Services
Our Service integrates with third-party services that have their own privacy policies:
- Firebase (Google) — Authentication, database, storage, analytics, crashlytics
- Stripe — Payment processing
- Google ML Kit — Text recognition features
8. Push Notifications
We may send push notifications for job updates, new messages, payment confirmations, and other service-related alerts. You can opt out of push notifications through your device settings at any time.
9. California Residents (CCPA)
If you are a California resident, you have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act, including the right to know what personal data is collected, request deletion, and opt out of the sale of personal data. We do not sell personal data.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the updated policy in the app and updating the "Last updated" date above.
